Raymond Perrin on treatment of CFS/ME.
Raymond Perrin is an osteopath who has specialised in the treatment of ME / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. He believes that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome is "a physical disorder that leads to a build up of toxins within the brain and the spine. The Perrin Technique™ has been developed to diagnose CFS/ME by identifying definite physical signs and to treat the disorder by improving drainage of these poisons from the central nervous system".
Raymond Perrin qualified in 1984 at the British School of Osteopathy. He initially concentrated on sports medicine and was appointed the official osteopath to the World Student Games in 1991. He has been involved since 1989 in the treatment of patients with symptoms associated with CFS/ME and spent the next sixteen years researching into this debilitating disorder. He gained his doctorate in July 2005 on The involvement of cerebrospinal fluid and lymphatic drainage in CFS/ME at the Biological Sciences Department, University of Salford. He has published scientific papers and written information booklets and treatment guides for this disease. He now divides his time in running The Perrin Clinic™ and giving regular lectures to lay groups and health professionals nationally and internationally.
Charles Bruford: Related technique session. Charles Bruford is a lecturer in cranial technique at ESO and internationally.
